Use the report to choose an editing workflow, but distinguish decoded properties from the source container metadata. This report does not modify tags.

Check that the source decodes in the browser and that start/end times fit its duration. Listen on a modest volume before accepting gain or filter changes. Unsupported codecs need a different source or decoder.
