Try a low cutoff first and compare speech warmth and intelligibility. Raising the cutoff too far removes useful voice frequencies as well as rumble.

Check that the source decodes in the browser and that start/end times fit its duration. Listen on a modest volume before accepting gain or filter changes. Unsupported codecs need a different source or decoder.

No. It is a high-pass filter rather than adaptive or AI denoising. Noise outside the affected frequencies remains.
